Combiner Wars Pyra Magna and Rust Dust galleries
Posted by News Fetcher on June 22 '16 at 05:17 PM
By Sol Fury from TFW2005:

Rounding out our coverage of Combiner Wars Victorion, we’re sharing a look at the final two members of the Torchbearers, Pyra Magna and Rust Dust! Pyra Magna is a remold of Hot Spot, and thanks to her predominantly red deco, it means we’ve got ourselves a red fire engine! Her remolding gives her a new chest, new hands, and new head, plus the remolded Victorion chest means Pyra has a different design on her ladder, which helps to give the vehicle mode a slightly different look. The solid design, great sculpting, and reuse of a good mold » Continue Reading.

Transformers the Last Knight Squeeks revealed
Posted by News Fetcher on June 22 '16 at 02:35 PM
By Sol Fury from TFW2005:

Via Michael Bay on Instagram, we have our first look at a new character for Transformers the Last Knight, Squeeks. Squeeks is a “junk robot” made out of parts of a moped or scooter, and seems to be intended as a mascot character in the vein of BB-8 in Star Wars. His design reminds this fan of a bunch of classic robots such as the robots from Batteries Not Included, Short Circuit’s Johnny 5, and Wall-E from the movie of the same name. It remains to be seen if Squeeks will be as endearing as them, but we remain » Continue Reading.

Some news out of the blue today as a listing on site sponsor Robot Kingdom has just surfaced for a Platinum Edition reissue of the Planet-Eater himself, Unicron! Not much is known about the figure thus far unfortunately and the image of the Armada version on the listing is a placeholder for now; but it seems like Hasbro could be squeezing in one last nod to the 1986 Transformers movie before the year’s end as the listing says the estimated release is December 2016. By Sol Fury from TFW2005:

For part four of our look at Combiner Wars Victorion, we’re spotlighting the fourth of the deluxe class limbs, Jumpstream! Jumpstream is a remold of Combiner Wars Breakdown, one of the less frequently used Combiner Wars molds. She’s got a new head and chest, along with new lower arms, and all of this together means she has a different look to Breakdown in robot mode. The vehicle mode is very nice too, with lots of mint green showing. While others in the team might have nicer head sculpts, Jumpstream is a very nice all-round package. Her weapon is a » Continue Reading.

By Sol Fury from TFW2005:

Herocross have posted their latest Transformers offering in their Hybrid Metal Figuration line on their Facebook feed. Evasion Mode Optimus Prime from Transformers Age of Extinction is their next release. This figure sports a very nice, detailed deco which captures the “worn” look of the Autobot commander in the first part of Age of Extinction. He is a limited run of 999 numbered figures, with a planned release in third quarter 2016, and comes with light up eyes, a light-up base, ion blaster and sword accessories. The price is quite high though, at around $141 US.
