A picture uploaded by Milo Lopez at Transformers Chile Facebook group, shows a bus (apparently from Hong Kong) with a RID banner. The interesting part is that we see the previously reported possible Autobot Combiner together with a new Decepticon combiner which looks like Menasor. Is Menasor and the Stunticons ready to debut in RID? Click on the title bar to check out the image and share your thoughts on the 2005 boards

2005 Board member Payres has shared with us an image of a standee in United Kingdom Asda stores. This standee houses several of the new Combiner Force figures that are currently on store shelves, but the art attached to the standee reveals something much more! Pictured on the standee is a Robots In Disguise combiner that appears to feature Bumblebee as the torso, Strongarm and Sideswipe as the arms and Grimlock as the legs. It looks very interesting so far. Could this be what was
teased less than a week ago? Quite possibly. Click on the title bar to check

Thanks to 2005 board member Strarf for sharing a news tidbit with us for the Robots In Disguise “Crash Combiners” line. Strarf’s local Wal-Mart in Indiana added a new shelf tag to their floor space. The tag reads – “TRA RID DEC DRAGSTR N WILDBREAK“. Whether or not these are new molds for the line or repaints of the Autobot cars in Decepticon colors remains to be seen. But, with a dragster and a name like “Wildbreak” speculation leads us to believe these may be Stunticon themed in some way or another. Time will tell as we get more information.

Sitting down for an
interview with Collider, director D.J. Caruso explained his vision for G. I. Joe 3 since leaving the project to film xXx: The Return of Xander Cage. His vision included… Transformers. “Before I started this movie I had a couple meetings with Dwayne and the studio about what could happen with G.I. Joe. The franchise has been fairly successful, but there’s something about it that’s just not fully, fully clicking. Well yeah but they’re not ready to do [G.I. Joe meets Transformers] yet. That’s exactly what they should do but they’re not ready to do that because

Yahoo! Movies, we have our first look at Transformers: The Last Knight R/C Sqweeks. They currently have a fully functional prototype provided by Hasbro for Yahoo to review. This is what they had to say about the new R/C Sqweeks: “Hasbro worked hand in hand with Bay’s creative team in conceiving Sqweeks and transforming the film version into a toy. The battle-damaged RC ‘bot features authentic sounds from the movie, and Hasbro engineers worked to get the movement, light effects, and catchphrases as close to the cinematic character as possible.“ Along with a prototype of they toy, they

Comicosity sat down with John Barber and Fico Ossio to talk about Revolutionaries by IDW. Aaron Long: Revolution merged the Hasbro properties into a shared universe, with Revolutionaries now spinning out of the event. What will readers be seeing in this series? John Barber: Lots of fast-paced action and big world-building. The Revolutionaries team is made up of Mayday (who’s a G.I. Joe agent), Kup and Blackrock (who are Transformers), and Action Man (who’s English). So they’re already kinda all over the place to start with, but right off the bat they have to team up with Rom and the

The Guardian has a pretty sweet article with Bob Budianksy and Bryce Malek about the creation of the original Transformers series. Bob Budiansky worked for Marvel and was the one who eventually named the original wave of Transformers, wrote their backstories – eventually becoming Tech Specs and the basis for all things to come. Bryce Malek was an animated series story writer for Marvel’s animation wing, and wrote the bible for the cartoon that other writers would reference. Both share a brief run down memory lane in the article and is worth a read. Hit think link and check
