Robots in Disguise Megatronus in hand
Posted by News Fetcher on June 28 '15 at 12:45 AM
By from TFW2005:

TFW2005 member and Ozformers owner Griffin-of-oz has shared some in-hand images and thoughts on the Robots in Disguise Megatronus Mega 5-step changer with us. This figure is roughly the same size as the Mega 1-step changer Optimus Prime, so he towers over most other toys in the line so far. A word of warning if you transform this one – there are gears inside the toy like a 2007 movie toy’s automorph feature, and like some of the 2007 automorphs, the gears can break if you are not very careful. This one is a Toys R Us exclusive » Continue Reading.

Board member Magnoir has graciously share images of in hand images of TakaraTomy United Warriors UW01 Superion with us. He shows off the individual members of Superion in vehicle mode, close ups of the robot mode, and combined mode. You can see the subtle attention to details from TakaraTomy’s release that makes them very accurate to their G1 counterparts. The best bonus of the United Warriors set though might just be the small lithograph of original art depicting the Aerilbots having an Energon Barbeque on top of Metroplex. Checking the images after the jump, and let us know which Superion » Continue Reading.

Check out samples of Allfes2010’s images below, or you can view his full gallery on the figure here. Future Transformers Films to Focus More on Robots as Characters
Posted by News Fetcher on June 25 '15 at 12:30 PM
By from TFW2005:

Transformers Cinematic Universe writer’s room member Lindsey Beer has posted a tweet in which she indicates future films in the live-action franchise will give more attention to the characters of the Transformers themselves.   She had the following to say: “The Transformers will be treated as real characters.  As a fan as well as a writer, I promise we’re delivering some awesomeness.” The most recent entry in the franchise, Transformers: Age of Extinction, contained notably more robot characterization than the previous entries, and based on Beer’s words it seems future films will likewise continue in that direction.
