We know, we know… this is a conversation that is happening almost all the time. But is Michael Bay really handing over the Transformers Movies to a new Director this time? During an interview with USA Today
, the director; whose latest Transformers movie made $1 Billion at the Box-Office, hinted that he is moving ahead with new projects.
This is what USA Today has to say…Bay is delving further into TV with both Last Ship and Starz's Black Sails, which kicked off in January and has filmed its second season. The hands-on producer keeps track of multiple projects from his high-tech screening room in.
"Literally, it looks like NASA mission control,'' he says. "I am always loaded with what's going on. I like to keep my eyes on everything."
The Bay streak continues with the horror film Ouija (out Oct. 24)and sci-fi thriller Project Almanac (Jan. 30, 2015), both of which he produced, and he's working on another undisclosed TV project. Bay, 49, believes he will pass the baton for future Transformer movies to a new director while he turns his focus elsewhere.
"There's kind of a new chapter, a new direction in movies I want to make," says Bay, who is eyeing a passion project, a documentary on elephant poaching. "I have a lot of stories to tell. And it's about flexing new muscles."
Recently, Paramount extended their deal with Michael Bay for another 3 years. But we do not know what role he will play in future Transformers movies.Read Replies (0)

eBay seller and forum member starwarsprotos
is continuing to drop rare and unreleased items on eBay, and there are some goodies up right now and ending soon. The one of major interest is a clear, boxed, Beast Wars Transmetal Optimus Primal. Clear "test shots" or "lunch time specials" really picked up in the 2000's with Takara's G1 reissues, so seeing a pure clear Beast Wars figure from the 90s is indeed rare. Paperwork from the factory to a former Hasbro employee is shown and included. Check out all the pics for this and his other auctions below!PROTOTYPE Transformers Beast Wars OPTIMUS PRIMALUNRELEASED Transformers Generation 2 G2 AUTOLAUCHERUNRELEASED Transformers Generation AUTOJETTERUNRELEASED Transformers Protectobot GROOVE

Former lead designer for the Transformers brand, Aaron Archer, has posted
an unrealized design for a Megatron toy. This design was kicked around by Archer in 2002 or 2003. Had this become a full realized toy, it may have ended up in the Armada toyline. The design itself features Megatron with several large spikes on his shoulder and ginormous forearms. Archer mentions that he thinks this was supposed to be a bomber or space shuttle.
Take a look at this incredibly menacing looking Megatron after the break! Aaron Archer will be in attendance at NJCC on August 17th
and at TFcon Chicago October 24th-26th
