Via their
weibo page, third-party company TFC Toys brings us their first concept art for the combined mode for Poseidon, their attempt at a Generations-style Pirancacon. From this obscured view, we can make out all of the currently announced figures in their respective limb positions in the combiner as well as the addition of a massive combiner sword. It doesn’t appear that the figures will offer Scramble City-type playability, but so far everything that has been shown appears true-to-form for the original characters and works really well as a convincing homage. If you would like to add these guys to your collection,

With just under a week until Botcon gets underway, artist Ken Christiansen has shared some of the prints he will have available at the convention. One of those prints is this piece of Optimus Prime and Elita-1, the reincarnations of the lovers Orion Pax and Ariel, sharing an embrace. It’s an excellent piece of art, and something that captures a different side to the characters – but don’t worry, there’s more traditional prints on offer too.
Check out Ken’s page for more work and information on commissions for next week’s show in Louisvilla, Kentucky!

Takara‘s Hisashi Yuki is at it again, this time
tweeting a few new prototype images of the upcoming Unite Warriors Scattershot! The Technobot leader is shown off here in both his robot and vehicle modes, fully displaying the new tooling he has, most notably of which being a new robot mode chest and some new guns – things that both versions of Hasbro’s Combiner Wars Scattershot lack. Hopefully we’ll be seeing more of the Technobots and Computron himself soon.
