Posted by News Fetcher on May 14 '14 at 04:00 AM
By Sol Fury from TFW2005:
Via 2Chan we have a look at some rather interesting Transformers designs in Transformers Generations 2014 Volume 1. Across a two-page spread ten different potential Transformers toys are shown, including an Alpha Trion, a GoShooter from Chojin Masterforce and a set of Omnibots.

Exactly what these are meant for is unclear at this time - one school of thought suggests this is a vote for which of the ten fans would like to see happen. We will update you once more information becomes available.

The ten shown are:

1 - Alpha Trion from Generations Scourge
2 - The Fallen from Fall of Cybertron Onslaught
3 - Sunstreaker Police Type from Universe Sunstreaker
4 - Smokescreen from Universe Smokescreen
5 - Autobot Drift Black Version from Generations Drift (this might well be a toy of Drift's Decepticon alter-ego Deadlock)
6 - Overdrive from Universe Smokescreen
7 - Camshaft from Generations Wheeljack
8 - Downshift from Universe Ironhide
9 - Beast Wars Silverbolt from Beast Hunters Grimwing

Alberta Film Classifications has rated the Trailer PG and will have a running time of 2:24. The said site rating the trailer will also mean it will arrive in theaters with a movie that will premiere within a week. Most probably it will arrive with Godzilla.

Interestingly, the trailer is named "Transformers: Age Of Extinction (trailer #3)". However, the site never rated a trailer titled "Trailer #2".

On May 15th, this isn't the only Transformers 4 Trailer that will be out. A commercial from Oreo Cookies (directed by Michael Bay himself) is also set to make an appearance as well. There is a good chance that we will see new footage from the movie.

Upcoming Transformers case assortments
Posted by News Fetcher on May 12 '14 at 11:31 AM
By Sol Fury from TFW2005:
Entertainment Earth has updated with some new case listings of upcoming Transformers product releases. Key points of the new case listings include:

Generations Voyager Wave 7 will feature 1 x Springer, 1 x Sky Byte and 2 x Roadbusters

Generations 2014 Deluxe Wave 3 will feature 2 x Rattrap, 2 x Tankor, 1 x Armada Starscream, 1 x Mini-Con Combiner, 1 x Scoop and 1 x Fall of Cybertron Skywarp

Age of Extinction Deluxe Wave 2 is due in July, and features 2 of Lockdown, Strafe, Slash and Drift per case. A revision case swaps out the Lockdowns for a Bumblebee and a Slug - so Lockdown is going to be the hard to find one, it appears.

Age of Extinction Voyager Wave 2 is also coming in July, with two revisions. The first case assortment packs 1 x Grimlock, 1 x Hound and 2 x Galvatron, with the revision taking out a Galvatron for an extra Evasion Mode Optimus Prime.

There are also listings for Wave 2 of the One Step Changers which will feature one of each of Lockdown, Grimlock, Slash, Hound, Bumblebee and Crosshairs per case, and Power Attackers Wave 2 which will feature two each of Hound, Optimus Prime, Drift and Scorn per case.
