Third party group
Bold Forms have shared some new images of prototypes of their unofficial takes on Motormaster and Megatron, aka Lone Wolf and Gladius. From these images we can see the Megatron has a Generation 1 style robot mode with a tank alternate mode - much like the upcoming Hasbro Leader class toy - while the Motormaster seems to be a Masterpiece scaled version of the Generation 1 toy with some extra details included.
Discuss the
Lone Wolf / Motormaster images here, and the
Gladius / Megatron images here.

TFW2005 would like to alert the fandom to a
pretty cool Kickstarter going on right now. The project aims to restore the Generation 1 cartoon soundtrack music to the best possible quality it can be.
To date, music from the series has never been officially released in any form. This is probably because much of it appeared in many different shows, and not all Hasbro owned properties. You can find a lot of it in Jem, G.I. Joe, Transformers, and even Spider-Man. Basically, anything Marvel/Sunbow produced. Licensing rights and royalties are probably a nightmare.
Any extended pieces of music were stitched together by cutting uninterrupted 1/2/3/4/5 second clips right from the DVDs until you had something resembling a song. This is tedious, hard work. Listening to over 2000 hours of episode audio just to pull maybe 30 minutes out in 1 second intervals is crazy and awesome. This was done over the last several years by Grimbot,
who shared his work via TFCog.
I personally did this myself, though not to this extent, so I know how hard it can be. Back when TFW2005 started, one of it's main purposes was a way for me to share the
Transformers focused music remixes I did, most using background clips I cut out of the show. Tho back then, I pushed a VCR into a microphone-in jack and recorded entire episodes at a time to the computer as WAVs, then cut out clips in Sound Forge. I constantly ran into situations where a footstep, computer beep, start of a sentence, breathing, wind, - you name it, would interrupt my clip and ruin the loop. Having this software or this mix 14 years ago would have been awesome.
