Japanese Generations Megatronus VS Orion Pax and Go! Hunter Arcee New Images
Posted by News Fetcher on September 18 '13 at 01:45 PM
By Sol Fury from TFW2005:
Transformers Korea has updated with a pair of new images of some upcoming Takara-Tomy Transformers releases. One of the images showcases the Generations TG-25 Megatronus VS Orion Pax set, with a slightly misleading image that makes it look like the stealth bomber Megatron is larger than Orion, rather than being of a similar height. The other new image shows off the Transformers Go! Hunter Arcee, a Japanese market release of Beast Hunters Arcee decoed more closely to her appearance in Transformers Prime.

Both toys are due out in October 2013.

Planet X Fall of Cybertron Swoop Prototype
Posted by News Fetcher on September 16 '13 at 10:00 PM
By ORIO from TFW2005:
The third party group Planet X has updated their Facebook page with new prototype images of their upcoming unofficial Fall of Cybertron Swoop figure. Planet X is the group responsible for the massive War For Cybertron Unofficial Omega Supreme figure, Genesis. Their second offering, while considerably smaller in stature, appears to be just as high quality as Genesis was thus far. This figure is shown in a green plastic prototype and the generous amount of images shows his robot mode, Cybertronian dinosaur mode and several of the toys features including; removable weapons that are also compatible with Generations Fall of Cybertron Grimlock, loads of poseability and the ability to attach to Grimlock's shoulders just like in the video game, Fall of Cybertron. Planet X states in their Facebook update that they're open to suggestions regarding color and preorders should be available soon.

Click the link above to view all of the pictures, or click the title bar for a sample and head to the discussion thread.

Posted by News Fetcher on September 16 '13 at 07:15 PM
By Tony_Bacala from TFW2005:
Word comes from China about a very large Transformers exhibit taking place, showcasing, well, almost everything! There seems to be cases upon cases of figures from the last 30 years, along with intricate dioramas and large human sized recreations of scenes from the Movies. It even has it's own store apparently, selling high end recently released items. It really is a sight to see. You can check out some of the images attached to this story, but to see them all, head on over to the thread on ACToys. Note - ACToys is a Chinese message board, it may take a while to load, due to it's location and the large amount of high res images shown in the thread.

Masterpiece Prowl and Japanese Generations Metroplex Japanese Store Display
Posted by News Fetcher on September 16 '13 at 09:45 AM
By Sol Fury from TFW2005:
2005 Boards member viper2391 shared some pictures of this cool store display from Tokyo's Akihabara district today. This store display showcases the massive amount of sheer awesome due for release in the next two weeks from Takara-Tomy. The centerpiece of the display is the gigantic Generations Metroplex - the Japanese release will feature a chrome face, plus additional paint details.

Looking very small next to Metroplex are the Japanese Generations releases of the Legends two-packs Optimus Prime and Bumblebee - these two and their Targetmaster partners will be a single four pack in Japan and will feature shiny paint.

Last and by no means least, the cool Transformers GT Maximus and the awesome Masterpiece Prowl are on display. Masterpiece Prowl looks incredible, a solid mix of the classic toy and animation model that will doubtless be topping some people's "favorite release of 2013" lists when he hits. GT Maximus sports a great and authentic deco too, mostly in white and green, but with some blue and red details included to recall the look of the original Fortress Maximus on whom he is based.

Check out all the images after the break.

2005 Boards Member ZombieMasterGuy is bringing us a photo of 4 Melee Weapons stored before filming of Transformers: Age Of Extinction at Pontiac, MI.

We currently have no clue as to who would wield these weapons and why. However with this finding, the number of melee weapons spotted for Transformers 4 comes to a total of 5 which includes the weapon carried by the movie's lead actor; Mark Wahlberg.

Our member has also unearthed another info and according to him, one of the weapons belong to a certain Cybertronian who would make a return.

But for now, the mystery of the 5 Melee Weapons remain unsolved.
