Unicron.com has published the second part of their interview with Jeff Kline; the executive producer of Transformers: Robots In Disguise. On this interview, he mentions several things regarding the decision to move the show to Cartoon Network, the crew, the animation and the Premises of the show.
"The motivation behind moving robots in disguise to cartoon network was to put the series in front of more eyeballs right out of the gate; CN is on more cable systems across America than discovery family. But, I have yet heard what its timeslot will be.""Robots In Disguise is definitely a lighter, more comedic take on the transformers universe. There's no ancient war being fought, meaning we can actually take the time to set-up a joke, and not feel guilty about it. Bee is front and center. Optimus' status is more mysterious than sorrowful. And there's a younger, more inexperienced (aka less battle-weary) cast of characters.
***
Lighter. Brighter. Even a little goofier. 'Cuz we've always viewed the Autobots (and Decepticons) as people, not machines. And people are funny!" "Visually, the series is absolutely pushing the boundaries of what is technologically possible when mixing 3D characters with 2D backgrounds. Once again, we're doing all the design work, all the storyboards, etc. In-house⦠but partnering with our pals at Polygon for the actual animation -- 'cuz those guys are the best there ever was...""The bulk of the Robots In Disguise team is the same as the Prime team. And that's by design. I have a very small "circle of trust"..."Ypu can read the full interview with more details, at

TFW2005 friend and site sponsor BigBadToyStore just put up
preorder listings for ToyWorld's Gestalt Parts. You may recall this project started awhile back with their release of
Grind Rod, a toy based on Throttlebot Rollbar. There was little secret that ToyWorld was also going to make this line of third party Throttlebots a combiner team, but updates have been few and far between.
Wait no longer as with the preorder listings and a
Facebook update, the fully combined mode has been revealed! If you've stuck with this project from the start you can complete the line sometime during the second quarter when the figures based on G1 Freeway, Goldbug, and Wideload are released!
Make the jump to check out the full details!

While Alex Milne has been the regular artist for More than Meets the Eye, there have been a few fill-ins from time to time - Guido Guidi, James Raiz, and Atilio Rojo, to name a few. Now, it looks like we can add another artist to that stable. Famed Japanese Transformers artist Hayato Sakamoto
has just tweeted that he will be doing the artwork for the upcoming Transformers: More than Meets the Eye #39. A glance at the
PreviewsWORLD listing for the issue also confirms this.
Sakamoto became known for his artwork on the BotCon 2014 set's comic, Hoist the Flag.
Discuss your thoughts on this revelation after the jump!
