We're wrapping up our
Botcon 2013 Exclusive Toy Galleries! Tonight we bring things full circle with a look at another set exclusive to Botcon 2013 which also featured a Strika, an Obsidian and a Megaplex. The difference? These ones are Kreons! Here for your enjoyment now are our galleries of the first ever Kreon exclusive to be offered at Botcon - and long may they continue!
The Botcon 2013 Kreon exclusive set of five figures was based on the Botcon 2013 convention boxed set - so where the boxed set has Machine Wars Megaplex and Hoist, so too this set does a Kreon Megaplex and Hoist. This becomes very cool with the addition of Kreons of Strika and Obsidian, who are basically the first-ever Beast Machines Kreons to get released on this token. None of the Kreons in the set are Micro Changers (Strika can be fanmoded into a tank, though). All in all, these are a fun set, and one that is a great addition for Kreon fans.
Open up the links below to check out our galleries of the Botcon 2013 Kreons!

The Transformers Collector's Club has sent out an email updating everyone on the status of the subscription service. Now that the first two figures are out, the second installment payment falls due and the Club will be billing your cards for it on 16th August. If your card details have changed, or your mailing details have changed, you will need to
log in to the Subscription Service to update your details - but if your Transformers Collectors Club membership has lapsed, you will not be able to do this and the Club has asked that people email them to update their details.
We here at TFW2005 should point out you should only email the Collector's Club if you have had a change of address - if you need to change your card details, be sure to phone the Club right away; do not send your credit card details by email. We'll say that once more for emphasis, never send your credit card details by email.
(In fairness, the update does say to not send all your details in one email, but even divided it is not safe to send your payment details through a non-secure medium like email)
Check out the full text of the email update after the break. The email also mentions that due to processing the installments, the third figure in the Subscription Service set will not ship until the last week of the month.

When filming scenes where CGI Characters are involved, movie makers often use a prop so that actors can focus where they should look at. For the Transformers Live Action Movie Franchise, these are usually Robot face on a long stick; most commonly known by Transformers Fans as "Pole Faces".
For Transformers: Dark of the Moon we saw the Wreckers, Mirage/Dino, Wheeljack/Que, Megatron, Soundwave and Shockwave.
Now it's time to introduce our first Pole Face for Transformers 4. Thanks to
Hot Fudge Detroit, we meet out first new Transformers 4 Robot. This Cybertronian seems to be a very old character with a long beard and unmistakably smoking a Pipe or a Cigar.
We have no idea who this might be. This newsie took the liberty of enlarging the image for your viewing pleasure. You are free to discuss a good name to this mysterious new bot, on the thread associated with this news post.

For part three of our Botcon 2013 Toy Galleries update, we wish to draw your attention to our galleries of this year's troop builder set, the Rainmakers. This trio who were the first Decepticons to appear in the first ever Transformers cartoon episode More the Meets the Eye Part 1 are all redecos of the Transformers Classics Starscream jet mold.
Sunstorm,
Bitstream and
Hotlink represent the most ambitious troop builder from Fun Publications so far for the Transformers brand as each one has their own unique deco, rather than the same deco just with different heads like the Junkion set from 2012. It is the first time this trio has (officially) been represented in the Classics line, and they serve to build up your Seeker Armada with more troops for Starscream to command.

Latest
spy image from the set of Transformers 4 reveals a new Sword-like Weapon. This sword is wielded by none-other-than Mark Wahlberg himself.
There is no confirmation whether the weapon is human-made or not, but judging by the look of the sword, it looks as though it's Cybertronian in origin.
Transformers Fans already went ahead and given various names for the sword. The most popular speculation being… well what else… The Star Saber. But what do you think this is? Tell us your opinion by replying to the thread associated with this News Post.

For tonight's update of our
Botcon 2013 Exclusive Toy Galleries, we are bringing you a look at the at-show attendee souvenir figures! These figures were available in limited quantities to the attendees of Botcon 2013 in San Diego, and in this fan's opinion they complement the main set quite well, as well as rounding out the Machine Wars cast lineup.
What we have a look at for you tonight are the Primus package attendee freebie figure
Starscream, who was only available to attendees who pre-registered with a Primus package for Botcon 2013. We're following that up with a look at the souvenir figure two packs of
Autobot Electrons (aka Classics Generation 2 Electro) with
Sandstorm, and
Mirage with
Thundercracker.

Transformers 4 is filming in Detroit today at the set that was designed to double up as Hong Kong, and by all accounts, the action being filmed is a positively explosive action / fight scene involving Mark Wahlberg and others running out of a restaurant and sheltering behind Autobot Hound in vehicle mode. Lots of pictures of the filming have been posted, both from
people observing the set and from news outlets including
Michigan Movies and More and
The Detroit Free Press, the latter of whom also has a report about what is going on today on set.
There are also some
videos showing the action being filmed on set, of which this one by
PishPosh.tv on Vimeo shows the lead up to the explosions (and Autobot Hound!) while
this one from MLive shows a better view on the explosions which are in typical Michael Bay fashion.

Yes friends, more Kre-O release news! The latest set of 12 blind-bagged Micro-Changer Kreons has been released in Singapore - which probably means a US release should not be too far away all being well. 2005 Boards member Gunshot shared this image of the new sets with us, which feature green bordered packaging (in contrast to the red bordered wave 1 and the blue bordered wave 2). He also passed along to us this helpful guide to the codes on the baggies to help you identify the Kreon inside:
50 - Nosecone
51 - Thrust
52 - Nemesis Prime
53 - Ramjet
54 - Huffer
55 - Kickback
56 - Long Haul
57 - Guzzle
