The mold uses a hybrid of Inferno and Grapple parts to create a unique design, and comes with two Targetmaster partners rather than the one reported to come with the United version.

He also looks awesome when paired with Million Publishing's Stepper, Artfire's fellow Targetmaster.

Michael Bay Talks Transformers 4 - New Cast, Plot And The Budget
Posted by News Fetcher on June 21 '12 at 07:15 PM
By NIBMRatchet from TFW2005:
After more than 3 months of silence from the web, Director Michael Bay talked a bit more about his upcoming movie; Transformers 4. For those who usually stay away even from the tiniest spoilers, this news post contains what he mentioned about the plot… you are warned.

“It’s not a reboot," Bay said, reiterating that the new film will have an all-new cast. "That’s maybe the wrong word. I don’t want to say 'reboot' because then people will think we’re doing a 'Spider-Man' and starting from the beginning. We’re not. We’re taking the story that you’ve seen — the story we’ve told in three movies already — and we’re taking it in a new direction. But we’re leaving those three as the history. It all still counts... We’re moving on to something different.”

Director Bay mentioned a bit about the plot as well...
"That feels like the way to go, doesn’t it?" says Bay. "I want to go a little off [the planet] but I don’t want to go too sci-fi. I still want to keep it grounded."

And the budget is less than what was allocated for Transformers: Dark of the Moon. This time it’s a relatively small (in terms of movies like this) budget of $165 million.

Here now for your enjoyment courtesy of SydneyY is a gallery of the second of the two Tokyo Toy Show 2012 exclusive Transformers! Shining Optimus Prime is a crystal version of my personal favorite toy of 2011, the Voyager Class First Edition Optimus Prime from Transformers Prime. This crystal version manages to look even more impressive, thanks to the glow that the translucent plastic gives the toy when light hits it. Transformers Fall of Cybertron Official Site Characters Update
Posted by News Fetcher on June 20 '12 at 02:45 PM
By Sol Fury from TFW2005:
The official Transformers Fall of Cybertron website has updated its characters section with two more characters. Now added to the site are the Autobot Jazz and Decepticon Soundwave. Jazz curiously has a different colored head to how he is depicted in game, with this version looking more like the Movie series version of Jazz. Both characters have their bios and special abilities given - Jazz has his well-publicized grappling hook, while Soundwave naturally gets the ability to eject minions from his chest.

Stay tuned for more official unveilings of characters - there are four more slots to go!

TFW Tokyo Toy Show Exclusive United Black Optimus Prime Gallery
Posted by News Fetcher on June 19 '12 at 12:02 PM
By Sol Fury from TFW2005:
It's time for another TFW site gallery update! This past weekend in Japan was the Tokyo Toy Show 2012, which had two exclusive Transformers toys - one of which was a black version of Classics Optimus Prime. Based on an unreleased Wonderfest design that was originally conceived for the Henkei line, United Black Optimus Prime depicts the heroic Optimus Prime taking up a Decepticon persona to infiltrate the enemy, but he might have gone too far an unleashed his repressed dark side in the process:

A new Decepticon ground troop had falsely claimed themselves to be Autobots and were causing havoc in many parts of Earth. To stop the disturbances, Optimus Prime used the enemy's tactic himself and planned to infiltrate the Decepticons camp. He repainted his body in jet-black and applied Decepticon insignia on his shoulders to make himself "Black Optimus Prime". He destroyed everything in his path as if his suppressed inner desires were unleashed. What actually happened to him...?

Check out the full gallery of this new version of Optimus Prime to see plenty of pictures of both robot and alternate mode, along with comparisons with the 2008 San Diego Comic Con exclusive Nemesis Prime, another convention exclusive "evil Optimus Prime" from this same mold. Give a big thanks to SydneyY for the gallery!
