Hot on the previously-reported news
from Shogu Hasui's Twitter page showing a silhouette teaser, a gray prototype image of the highly-anticipated MP-21 - Masterpiece Bumble -
surfaces by way of Comic Toys' Facebook page
. We get a look at both the robot and the alternate modes of Masterpiece Bumble. The photo shows us that the alt mode is a realistic representation of the fully-licensed Volkswagen Bettle, as opposed to a chibified toy alt mode that the original Generation One
toy represents. Also, a feature unknown until now is that the faceplate for Bumble is removable!
Along with this image is what appears to be a fully-transformable Exo-suit Spike figure, as seen from the 1986 The Transformers: the Movie
! Certainly feel free to journey back to that scene with some of our screencaps of the scenes shared with these two here: The Transformers: The Movie - Bumble[bee] and Spike Screencaps
Now, it is a bit unclear as to whether or not the figure is actually Spike or his son, Daniel. However, the likelihood of Spike seems to be a bit higher, given his long friendship with Bumble[bee]. If you want to speculate further, jump on over to our Masterpiece Speculation thread

Here's an update for all of you Transformers Rescue Bots fans. Recently we reported on the titles and airdates of the initial six season 2 episodes, however there was an oddity with episodes 5 and 6 both seemingly being shown outside the show's normal timeslot.Zap2it
has now updated with new times for episode 5, A Virtual Disaster, and episode 6, Spellbound, which are now airing on 3/29/2014 and 3/22/2014, respectively (yes, they seem to be showing out of sequence - or maybe Zap2it just has them round the wrong way?)
In any case, here is what the list of upcoming episodes and their airdates looks like:
3/08/2014 One for the Ages - This Saturday!
3/15/2014 Tip of the Iceberg
3/29/2014 A Virtual DisasterRead Replies (0)

:Transformers Dioramas on Facebook
has revealed one of the store exclusive items coming this summer as a part of the Transformers Age of Extinction toyline.
What we have for you here is a look at an "evolutions" two-pack, taking characters appearing in Transformers Age of Extinction and bundling them with toys from past Transformers toy lines to represent the characters as they appeared in Generation 1; which is also a great 30th anniversary celebration. The set we have a look at here is Grimlock, and it's a Toys R Us Exclusive.
In this set we have two Grimlocks. The "then" half of the equation is the Transformers Energon Grimlock, representing the original Grimlock likely due to the prohibitive cost and mold quality of the Generation 1 original. The "now" half of the evolution is the new Generations Age of Extinction Voyager Grimlock mold. The packaging has a particularly cool effect where the tray behind the original toy features the classic Generation 1 grid and gradient style - even the Autobot logo as it appeared on the original boxes.
This is not the first time that the evolution of a Transformer has been collected as a store exclusive set - in 2008, there was a "Legacy of Bumblebee" set which did the same for three Deluxe Bumblebees from Classics, Animated and Movie series. We also know that from the leaked upcoming toy list from Hasbro that there are some more "Then and Now" evolution sets planned, including Bumblebee, Optimus Prime, Slug / Slag and Strafe / Swoop.Read Replies (0)

Dark Cybertron is almost over, my friends - and that means, while the two ongoing comics - More than Meets the Eye and Robots in Disguise - will be picking up and continuing on in their second seasons, another series will be joining alongside them - Windblade.
And now, coming to us from Comic Book Resources
, we have a brand new interview with the comic's writer: Ms. Mairghread Scott. In this particular interview, she once again doles out previously-stated information concerning the Fan-Built-Bot's upcoming comic, and some new tidbits, such as who the main antagonist will be, how other Cybertronians will view and treat her, when the series will take place, her previous Transformers-related works, women in the comic industry, her own future, and more.
Be sure to read the full interview and discuss it after the jump.Read Replies (0)
