Following on from his post yesterday about the leaked Transformers 4 script, Michael Bay posted a follow-up to the effect that he thinks the leaked script is a Hasbro treatment for an unrelated Transformers story - and in the process he apparently confirmed there would not be a movie adaptation comic for Transformers 4 "because we want to keep our story under wraps".
The full quote taken from Michael Bay's site
is below:P.S. I bet it is something from Hasbro. This time they are not doing a comic book of the movie because we want to keep our story under wraps. It must be their version of a comic themed Transformers story they are creating.
This might be a good thing, considering how many of us were spoiled on Dark of the Moon by Amazon posting major, major plot events from the movie adaptation comic online weeks before the movie's release. Hopefully there will be a few more surprises in store for Mr Bay and crew to surprise us with this time out.Read Replies (0)

oscarfung of HK-TF has shared some very cool first looks with the fandom - our first proper in-hand look at the Kre-O Micro Changers Combiners Devastator
. Each set comes with four Kreons who can transform between robot and alternate forms by rearranging their parts, or can be disassembled to form the larger combiner robot.
Of note in these pictures we also have a nice look at the four Kreons in the sets alongside the fifth member of the group, who is available separately in the Micro Changers blind-bag assortment Wave 1. The fifth member cannot combine with the other four by default, but where there's a creative fan, there's sure to be a way.Read Replies (0)

Take this with a grain of salt. Entertainment news site Unleash The Fan Boy is claiming that they have obtained a copy of the Transformers 4 Script.
We can’t prove the credibility of the news but it’s worth checking out if you are curious about Transformers 4 (and love to get spoiled).
Recently, Michael Bay’s Ninja Turtles script was also leaked and the Director himself confirmed it is legit but that script was abandoned long ago. Plot leaks happened for all three previous Transformers movies... it wouldn't be a surprise if it happens for the 4th movie as well.
Good thing about this news is that we’ll probably hear a response from the director after awhile.
If you wish to read a summary of the supposedly leaked script, you can visit Unleash The Fan Boy
Update - Director Michael Bay has updated
his official website with the following message:"Some Internet sites this morning reported that some document recovery guy has found a legitimate 120 page script of Transformers 4. I can absolutely 100 percent say this is completely false. The only two people in the world that have our unfinished script are Kruger and myself. Also we are only up to page 70 in our T4 script. Maybe this guy has a cartoon or something else – but definitely not our movie!"
There you have it folks. We may not have gotten a script, but at the end of the day received an update from the Director regarding the progress of Transformers 4.Read Replies (0)

One more Transformers Fall of Cybertron toy gallery for you! This time we're spotlighting the Decepticon Communicator, Soundwave
. There's not a lot to be said about Soundwave that has not already been said about Soundblaster, who is also out in the same assortment. He's a big, chunky toy - refreshingly reversing the trend of making the toys smaller / lighter, Soundwave feels a whole lot more solid than a few of the Prime Voyagers have done. Soundwave's built around his "deploy minions" gimmick, which is fun to do and works decently well.
What will ultimately be the make-or-break for many is that Soundwave is a built out of scale with the other War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron characters released so far - he needs to be for the Data Disk gimmick - although he is a very good size next to Classics Megatron, so there's always the possibility of having this be your Classics Soundwave. If you're a one deco only guy, you might well want to go for Soundblaster instead so you've got two different characters in your collection.
However you do it, I strongly recommend picking up one of the two, because he is a very good and solid toy, one of the best and most fun Voyagers to come along this year. Solidly recommended.

:Movie Replicas Direct
has posted up some more listings for upcoming Transformers releases, complete with in package pictures. Headlining here is our first look at the Beast Hunters Predacon Leader Predaking in box - note that for Beast Hunters we are seeing a return to full-on squared boxes rather than the ones with angled corners we saw on the Prime and Fall of Cybertron Voyagers.
There's also a selection of Kre-Os in package. No new revelations on sets being released under the Kre-O Beast Hunters banner except that the Beast Blade Optimus Prime set will feature Optimus Prime and Laserback as a set of two - making this Laserback's second toy appearance.
By way of these listings and a pair of eBay auctions
we have a look at the Rescue Bots "'bot and human" two packs in package.
Lastly on an aside those waiting for Beast Hunters might not have too long to wait, and 2005 Boards member Canonball reports that a Fred Meyer store in Portland, OR is putting out the shelf tags for Beast Hunters already.Read Replies (0)

The Transformers Live Action Movie Blog
is reporting that Transformers 4 will begin shooting in May 2013. This information comes via a Collider interview with Transformers 4 lead actor, Mark Wahlberg. Mark also goes into a little bit of detail on how him and Michael Bay ended up working together for the project: “That’s why Transformers came about, because we had such a great time working together [on Pain and Gain]. We kind of complemented each other throughout the entire process, what he does and what I do and what we were able to do together, and then after that I was like ‘Dude we gotta work together again,’ and he was like, ‘Well I got a project, you interested?’ (laughs)”
“We’re shooting Transformers in May, and then I believe we’re gonna do Ted 2 right after. They’re working on it now and we’ve kind of gone through the negotiation process. The great thing about it is Seth’s ideas for the second one are sick. He comes from the world of episodic television so he knows how to tell the stories, man, in a way that most people don’t, like for instance The Italian Job we’ve been trying to do the sequel for 10 years. He’s a different kind of guy.”

We've got one more toy to showcase to wrap up our coverage of Fall of Cybertron Deluxe Wave 3, so without further ado, here's Fall of Cybertron Air Raid
Air Raid is a remolded and retooled version of Shockwave, who was arguably the best of the initial three deluxe releases in this round of Generations. Air Raid gets an excellently done and very detailed new head, a new chest, plus a new gunblade weapon and a second sword weapon. It's the new weapons where the appeal of the toy lies, because the gunblade (replacing Shockwave's arm cannon) can not only convert between a gun and a sword form, but it can break down into the gunblade portion and a second gun (which looks a bit like something the Generation 1 Aerialbots used). The second gun can attach to the arm like Shockwave's arm cannon, giving you already a good selection of options for displaying this guy, and that's not without getting into the sword accessory, which can be combined with the gunblade (or its components) in a couple of different ways to form some rather impressive swords!
In short - half the fun of this toy comes from his accessories and in plugging them together to make a whole bunch of different weapon combos. That is ultimately why if you are thinking of passing on Air Raid you should probably think again - he's just plain fun
. This fan had the most fun he has had with a Transformer toy in a good while fiddling around with this one figuring out the many different weapon combinations, a selection of which are showcased in our gallery. Generation One variant collectors take notice! In a bit of . . . interesting news to say the least, the Commemorative Series Optimus Prime
is seeing a re-release. While this in itself isn't odd news in light of some of the other re-releases we've been seeing, the nature of this one is a bit more interesting. From our Cybertron.CA
forums, member Bruticus reports that this reissue is in the Commemorative packaging . . . but it's the 25th anniversary Optimus Prime
figure! The notable differences of the figures are the shades of reds, blues, and grays used for the toy parts. The Autobot symbols appear to be tampo-stamped onto the figure as well (whereas the Commemorative issue has a label sheet).
