It has been two weeks since
Michael Bay’s Official Website making an announcement stating that the teaser trailer for Transformers: Age Of Extinction is “Coming Soon”. We are yet to see the official reveal.
Now, take what we are about to say next with a grain of salt. 2005 Boards Member
“Eject, Ravage” is stating that they have received an official confirmation from Paramount requesting the theater owners to debut the next Transformers: Age Of Extinction Trailer before 300: Rise Of An Empire.
300: Rise Of An Empire is the sequel to the 2006 hit movie; 300 and will open this March 7th. However being an “R Rated” movie, the practicality of reaching a large audience is thrown out of the window. But this being a “Digital Age”, surely the trailer will be online for all of us to enjoy.
Do keep this information strictly as RUMOR only. We are yet to hear an official announcement stating whether or not the new rumor is true.

Transformers: More than Meets the Eye writer James Roberts recently held a
contest on his Twitter, asking for fans to come up with the best tagline for the comic's upcoming second season. As a reward, whoever won would receive news of who would be joining the crew of the Lost Light (AKA the Crusadercons) after Dark Cybertron.
James has chosen to reveal the character to all via
his Twitter: Bluestreak! In an interesting bit of trivia, this character was originally going to fill Swerve's roll in the cast before being replaced by the quest-loving bot.
James has also
tweeted both the tagline and theme song for MTMTE season 2.
Everything kicks off soon in April with the first issue of the second season, Transformers: More than Meets the Eye #28!

Thanks to TFW2005 boards member SydneyY for passing this along - According to a
blog post by Snakas (Autobase Aichi), Takara designer Shogo Hasui gave a short interview to Figure-oh magazine about the Masterpiece line. In it, he offers a few previously-unknown and potentially interesting tidbits about the line:
- MP Wheeljack's colour scheme in vehicle mode is close to the real car, but he tried to make the robot mode's colours as close to the cartoon as possible.
- WJ's shoulder cannon can be attached to the car roof.
- WJ's Wings on the back do not require detaching when transforming.
- Thanks to Tomica (Tomy's Hot Wheels size, real vehicle base toy car series) it has become much easier to negotiate with car manufacturers. (I assume easier than when dealing with them as Takara, since Tomy has long-established connections thanks to Tomica)
- The sales of MP Lambor to Streak were excellent, and as a result, Smokescreen could have additional parts, and Wheeljack could be developed without considering re-purposing the mould.
- The first 3 real vehicle MPs were meant to be "Super Cars".

In a bit of news that is sure to make all IDW/Last Stand of the Wreckers fans happy, the previously-cancelled Mach 5 Gauntlet project has been revived by Mech Ideas! They will be creating this figure alongside their Animated line and whatever other products they may have planned.
Gauntlet is a representation of IDW/LSOTW Ironfist (or "Fisitron"), staying very true to his depiction by Nick Roche and Alex Milne. We also have some comparison pictures of the prototype, with him alongside Generations Springer and Mech Ideas Demolition Crue Geminus.
Mech Ideas' Facebook page notes that it will be available at a "lower price" than it was previously, and pre-orders will be coming soon. Keep an eye out as we bring you all the latest updates on this figure.
Check out the images after the jump then share your thoughts about this revived project in the discussion thread!

Melanie Specht is a lovely lady who got a chance to work on the upcoming Michael Bay movie; Transformers: Age Of Extinction. She is an actress and her role in the movie is to be the senior executive assistant to Joshua; played by Stanley Tucci. MovieHole had the pleasure to interview her and she had this to say:
Firstly I’d like to say congratulations on landing your role in Transformers 4! Can you tell us much about the character you play in the film?
My character is Joshua’s senior executive assistant. The very talented and gracious Stanley Tucci plays Joshua. On set director Michael Bay referred to my character as the “Grande Dame”, I got a kick out of that! "Grande Dame" in french means "Great Lady". So, the question of the hour is... Is she more than meets the eye?
Only time can tell folks. Check out the rest of her interview at
MovieHole.
