A pair of galleries
have surfaced over at Higekuma Toy blog
showcasing the new Takara Generations Fall of Cybertron Soundwave figure. The galleries show the differences in this Soundwave from his US counterpart as well as offers comparisons to the War For Cybertron Deluxe figure. The biggest difference between the Takara and Hasbro versions is the shade of blue. The Takara version offers a much darker, richer blue with neon pink highlights, making the figure all that much more accurate to his video game appearance.

Just a reminder to all the fans of Transformers Prime that the 3rd season premiers tonight and brings us into the world of Beast Hunters! What does this mean for the Autobots we've seen in the show so far, and will we see any new Autobots join the cast this season? What about the new menace the Autobots will have to deal with, how will they overcome the odds after the season 2 finale? Find out tonight at 730pm ET!
Also, if you're a fan of the show, but hate commercials, double check your DVR to make sure the episode is set to record. We've heard that some DVR's have set Beast Hunters as its own category
and therefore tonight's episode was not set to record. I can personally attest to this, as my TiVo did not have the episode set until I created a new recording.
Be sure to click the link to join in on the episode discussion.Read Replies (0)

Amazon Japan has updated its listings for Masterpiece Prowl
and Masterpiece Streak
(aka Bluestreak / Silverstreak) with details of the exclusive accessory they will be offering. As with recent Masterpiece releases, Amazon Japan will be offering a special accessory with preorders through their site. In Prowl and Bluestreak's case, this will be a launcher, modeled after the Generation 1 toy's missile launchers. Like the originals they clip on next to the toy's head - but unlike the originals, on these new Masterpieces they can attach to the vehicle modes as well. However Amazon is only including one launcher with each preorder, so unless you're a fan of the Binaltech Smokescreen GT single launcher look, fans will need to preorder both for the completed effect.
Check out the images attached to this story - please note they are only prototype images, so might change a little before the final versions come along.Read Replies (0)

By way of a Japanese image board we have a look at the Transformers-related pages of one of the new Japanese hobby magazines. These scans give us our first look at some of the upcoming April release Transformers including our first-ever look at Takara-Tomy's Beast Hunters, Transformers Go! The decos on Takara-Tomy's toys are a departure from the US ones - from these scans we can see that:
Optimus Prime sports blue chest windows and a blue-bladed Star Saber, rather than the green on the US version.
Wheeljack, Starscream and Bulkhead, while keeping their armored looks and new accessories, feature more show-accurate paint jobs.
Soundwave looks very purple / royal blue, much darker than his usual coloration.
Shockwave sports black snap-on armor, rather than red
Predaking and Bumblebee seem largely unaltered from their US releases.
These toys do not come with Arms Microns and seem to be largely pure redecos of their US releases.
The Transformers Go! EZ Collection is also showcased. In addition to Smokescreen and Airachnid from the Beast Hunters Cyberverse the Reveal the Shield / Universe Legends Prowl, Optimus Prime, Starscream, Bumblebee, Hound and Megatron toys are being given a fresh release, some with more tweaks to their paint decos than others. Megatron is the stand out - he features a deco inspired by the unreleased Combat Hero Megatron redeco from Generation 2.
There is also some showcasing of the Generations Data Disks along with Masterpiece Prowl and Streak, but nothing that has not been seen previously.

The Hub has put out a press release with details of their shows going forward (including airing "Wizards Vs Aliens" by former Doctor Who showrunner Russel T. Davis). This naturally includes some details of Transformers Prime. Coming in Fall 2013 is the conclusion of Beast Hunters, Predacons Rising. The 90 minute TV movie is described as an epilogue to the series that wraps up the story - which to this fan sounds suspiciously like it might well deal with any last major hanging plot threads.
Also a bit of news for Rescue Bots fans - season 2 is mentioned in the release as "premiering this winter
".Check out the full press release here
. We've mirrored the Transformers-related portion below:
