We are now proudly sharing with you a gallery of the recently released Transformers Generations "Thrilling 30" Autobot triple-changer,
Sandstorm! Sandstorm is a heavy remold of the previous wave's Springer, and we do mean "heavy remold" in every sense of the expression, thanks to a lot of remolded parts and a complete new backpack section with a new tailfin and the toy's signature VTOL fans. It is, quite possibly, the single most ambitions remold seen on a Transformers toy yet.
Sandstorm's three modes are all very well realized. VTOL Aircraft mode is a complete different mode from Springer's helicopter; the twin fans give the vehicle a unique look (plus, it's not the kind of alternate mode we often see on a Transformer, which is a plus). Dune Buggy mode makes use of those fans as huge rear wheels and the new tailfin gives the cab a bit of an armored look, which makes for an interesting car mode. Robot mode is the one that most closely resembles Springer - if you ignore the twin fans giving Sandstorm a rather impressive backpack. While nice looking, the fans do cause a few issues with stability - though to the designer's credit, Sandstorm can still hold most poses fairly easily. The tailfin officially sticks up, behind the head, in homage to how the Generation 1 toy was designed - but in a stroke of genius design, you can easily fold this part down into a more discrete backpack if you don't care for the choice.

Amazon Japan has updated their pages for Transformers Go
Hunter Smokescreen and
Bakudora with official images. From these images we can see Hunter Smokescreen will have a much more show accurate look right down to the red stripes on his head, but it seems like he will not have a silver face. Bakudora the Ripclaw redeco looks particularly cool with a red and metallic blue deco
The images also give us a good closeup of the new head.

From one group of cassette minions to another, our next gallery update is of the Autobot Data Disks! These four were released as the second assortment of Generations Legends class two-packs, and are designed to go with Voyager class Blaster in the same way that the first wave's Decepticon Disks were intended to complement Soundwave / Soundblaster.
The assortment gives Blaster his remaining three minions -
Rewind,
Eject, and
Ramhorn - as well as a fourth new minion,
Sunder, who is a redeco of Laserbeak based on the Kiss Players Position character Sundor. He fits right in with the team thanks to his bright colors, and also his bio making him very much a part of the team. The four toys are not exceptionally poseable, but they make up for it with their fun autotransform gimmick.
Open the links below to check out our galleries of the four, and if you like these, why not check out our galleries of the
Decepticon Data Disks,
Soundwave,
Soundblaster and

For our next gallery update, we bring you a look at one of the newest E-Hobby exclusive sets. For their most recent release, E-Hobby took Generation 1
Soundwave and
Blaster along with their cassettes
Rewind,
Ramhorn,
Ratbat and
Slugfest and redecoed them as their mirror universe Shattered Glass alter-egos. The set also adds
Solarbot, a new character from the Rewind mold who features clear plastic.
The individual figures have some sharp decos - Soundwave looks excellent in white, and Blaster's "evil" deco really works with the mold especially with the way the head and face is realized. The cassettes, meanwhile, look phenomenally cool in their new decos, from Ratbat's Batman inspired colors to the red and white on Rewind. They are great redecos of the cassettes who stand alone, apart from the whole Shattered Glass theme, and just look great.
