TFcon Exclusive 2011 Exclusive Comic Pages Available For Public View!
Posted by News Fetcher on August 23 '11 at 11:30 PM
By Superquad7 from TFW2005:
The TFcon exclusive 2011 mini comic drawn by IDW's Alex Milne, colored by Josh Perez and written by Protoman is now up for the public to view (minus the dialogue).

The story tells of Fortress' transition from his original Planet Master body to his new Fortress Maximus upgrade, as well as introduces us to Toxin, the previously unknown 4th Decepticon Headmaster of Scorponok's gang. This story is based in the Japanese G1 cartoon continuity and happens before episode 1 of Transformers: Headmasters.

Also, a careful eye will note that the Stronghold figure and drawn character are slightly different due to the design not finalized at the time the illustration was completed. Additionally, the Toxin character shares the same body of G1 Chromedome, just sporting a different color scheme.

What are your thoughts of this story and these characters? Be sure to discuss your thoughts after viewing the images after the jump!

Transformers: Dark Of The Moon To Return To IMAX Theaters
Posted by News Fetcher on August 21 '11 at 05:30 PM
By NIBMRatchet from TFW2005:
Director Michael Bay visited his Official Forum (S4TE) to tell us that “Transformers” might get re-released in IMAX Theaters.

“I think they are really considering re releasing Transformers on IMAX again. From what I heard from Paramount.”

It is unclear what “Transformers Live Action Movie” he is referring to, but since he posted the comment at a “Bring back TF3 3D to Imax” thread, we can safely assume that Mr. Bay is referring to Transformers: Dark of the Moon.

TFW's Transformers galleries are BACK! We took a little break for the launch of Dark of the Moon and the convention season, but now that is all a pleasant memory, we are going to turn the dial up to 11 and serve up some crisp galleries of images of all your favorite Transformers toys.

First up, courtesy of SydneyY, is an extensive gallery of the Takara-Tomy Japan exclusive Jetwing Optimus Prime. This toy was only available in Japan and through selected retailers in Australia, and it's a pity because it is a gorgeous piece recreating Optimus Prime's rocket pack from the final battle of Transformers Dark of the Moon in Leader Class.

Optimus is also packing a pair of chainguns in this version - all the better to gun down Decepticons with!

Check out the gallery by clicking on the link below, and be sure to visit again soon - we have lots of cool images to share with you including Botcon and TFCon exclusives, and all the cool new toys that have been appearing on pegs, and some old favorites as well!
