Our next new Transformers toy gallery for your enjoyment is this gallery of the
Transformers the Ride exclusive release, Evac! Only available from Universal Studios, Evac is the star of Transformers the Ride, a new member of the Autobot team who takes visitors to the park on a journey that's more than meets the eye!
The Evac toy is a rather cool little exclusive. He's a complete new mold based on the character from the ride, transforming from a high-tech personnel carrier / the car from the ride into a movieverse styled robot mode.
He fits right in with the movie toys too, particularly with contemporary releases from Dark of the Moon. He's got decent amounts of poseability in the shoulders, elbows, hips and knees with a little side-swivel in the ankles to allow for wider poses. On the vehicle mode,
the sides of the vehicle lift-up, gullwing style, just like the car on the ride. There's no waist swivel in robot mode though, and no weapon or accessory either, though there are some 3mm clip points on the toy and 5mm peg holes in the hands as well.
All in all, Evac's a cool little toy. He's got a great look and fits in well with the movie series cast. Because he's a theme park exclusive, he commands a bit of a markup on the secondary market and your mileage may vary on whether that is worth it. Certainly at original retail if you are a movie series fan, this one is a good addition to your Autobot side.

TFW2005:
High Moon Studios, the creators behind the popular and successful Transformers Fall of Cybertron game
stated in a Q&A Thursday that they are not planning any future downloadable content for Fall of Cybertron.
The statement is as quoted below:
Can you add more colors and characters?
Unfortunatly not. Each color, new character, or really anything that gets added puts demands on what the game can support technically. At this point with the largest roster of Tranformer characters ever and dozens of colors we have reached the limit. Sorry Sludge fans!
Will you be adding any DLC maps?
A number of our fans have expressed an interst in buying DLC maps, however we feel this will have a negative impact a player's ability to quickly find a full match. This is a major learning we made from War For Cybertron. The addition of paid DLC maps splits the player community between those with the maps and those without. This is obviously a huge disappointment for those who have been playing the game on a regular basis and enjoying it, but have started reaching the end-game limits. Many fans have questioned if games such as the Halo franchise can release map packs for over a year after the game is released, and Left 4 Dead 2 can continue to release new campaigns and multiplayer maps years after the game was released, why can't High Moon Studios do the same with Transformers Fall of Cybertron?
What are your thoughts? Share them with our fellow Transformers games by discussing it on our forums!

Our fellow fans over at
The Allspark have translated the seventh chapter of the Transformers United story. This chapter picks up on what happened to the Autobot Choppermaster after his battle with Rollermaster and Combatmaster. The good news is, he was rescued by Airmaster. The bad part, it was all a part of a Decepticon plan to track the location of the Master Class' base, and steal another set of Power Core Combiner drones - and it falls to the Decepticon Dozermaster to execute the plan!
This chapter introduces the two toys from the two-pack that accompanied it into the plot - Airmaster and Dozermaster. As usual hints are dropped at the identity of the two new characters - Airmaster is revealed to be a third member of the Micromaster Air Patrol, Sky High, while Dozermaster's bio drops some heavy hints that he's another Generation 2 character - the Autoroller, Roadblock.
Check out the full post and translation over at The Allspark.
