TFW2005:
TakaraTomy has updated their website listings for three future Arms Micron releases:
AM-27 Ultra Magnus (a redeco of the recently release Voyager Ultra Magnus with a new Arms Micron hammer),
AM-28 Leo Prime (a redeco of Thundertron in colors resembling those of Lio Convoy from Beast Wars II, with a Micron companion resembling
Moon, from the same show.) and
AM-29 Shockwave (Who is, oddly enough, the Takara release of
Generations/Fall of Cybertron Shockwave, with a new Micron in place of his pre-existing cannon). All three are due for release in December of this year.

We've got a treat for you today - a gallery showing off the
Fall of Cybertron Voyager Class Soundblaster. He's in the same case assortment as Fall of Cybertron Voyager Soundwave, and both were recently released in Australia. 2005 Boards member SydneyY picked up a Soundblaster and has shared a nice extensive gallery with us showing off this new toy.
The figure sculpt - whether you opt for the "
New Soundwave" black of Soundblaster or the classic blue version - has great articulation. There's a great range of movement in the knees and elbows, rotatable wrists, arm and leg swivels on top of all the usual articulation. The head sculpt is also excellent. The figure's main gimmick is the ability to
store the data disk minions in the chest, then
deploy them so they auto-transform on launching from the chest. The auto-transform on Buzzsaw is quite simple, but fun.
As for which one to pick up? SydneyY tells us that Soundwave has a really nice shade of blue, but he personally went for Soundblaster because like a good number of us he already has the
War for Cybertron Soundwave mold (his is the cool United version with a shiny finish) and did not want to replace him in his collection.

By way of some online store listings and an early image posted on our fellow fansite
Fullmetalhero, we've got some more news of new toys coming your way next year as a part of the Transformers Prime Beast Hunters series. First things first, that early look image - what you're looking at is the first picture of an all-new Beast Hunters Cyberverse Commander Optimus Prime. The new Optimus design is a bulkier, brawnier look with elements of the War / Fall of Cybertron design worked in, particularly the "wings" on the back with the wheels on.
Secondly, by way of new solicits at online store
Kapow Toys, we can confirm that the "Ultra" scaled Weaponizers will be returning for Beast Hunters. Moreover, three Weaponizers are listed - Optimus Prime and Bumblebee are there, presumably remolds / redecos of the existing Weaponizers, and making his debut in this size class is Ultra Magnus. With the big guy getting his third toy in the Prime line, what do you think his odds of showing up in the series are?
Of course, new toys are no confirmation of the direction the fiction might take - but it's a good gauge of what we might want to start saving some money up for once these start hitting! Those Beast Hunters Weaponizers are due in February 2013 according to the listings, so we hopefully will not need to wait long to see more of them.

Our fellow fans at The Allspark have shared translations of the next two chapters of the Transformers United EX story. Chapter 5,
The Dragon pays his dues and Chapter 6,
Destruction and Regeneration. Story chapter 5, published on the box for Grim Master, introduces the character of Grim Master into the story. His chapter reveals that he's an ex-Decepticon who was once saved by an Autobot commander, and eventually joined the Autobot side to protect the Earth that is precious to him and repay his debt. He's a reformed version of the Dinoforce member Kakuryu from Transformers Victory - his chapter also features references to another former Decepticon ally, Clouder aka Doubleclouder from Masterforce!
Story chapter 6, Destruction and Regeneration, throws Road Master into the mix. A powerful mercenery hired by the Decepticon's new leader referred to only as "the High Regent", it is revealed that he is also a Junkion who betrayed his home world - he is a new form of the E-Hobby character, Detritus!
Open the links above to check out both story chapters.

We're back with another Transformers toy gallery. Today we are sharing with you a gallery of
Transformers Prime Arms Micron Ironhide.
Ironhide was released back at the end of September in Japan.
He's a recolored version of Prime Sergeant Kup - unlike a lot of other Arms micron releases, Ironhide did not get any remolding to add extra ports for Arms Microns. He looks fantastic in the red and black - I would go as far as to say this is the deco that Kup should always have been released in, because it fits the design so much better than Kup's green. Ironhide like all Arms Micron releases comes with a sheet of stickers in lieu of paint apps, but he barely needs them because he looks good with or without the stickers. A cute touch is the inclusion of a "bullet hole" sticker if you want to customize the look of your Ironhide (or indeed any Transformer) with a war-wound.
Ironhide's partner Micron is I.R., a well-built orange Micron who turns into Ironhide's signature cannon. He's a fun little robot and looks equally good
attached to Ironhide's arm or
hand-held, but his true strength comes out when you combine him with other Arms Microns, like B.H. and C.L., and he forms some
suitably oversized heavy weapons for the Autobot weapons specialist.
