New Perfect Effect Product incoming?
Posted by News Fetcher on August 10 '11 at 07:30 AM
By Secretcode from TFW2005:
Thanks to TFW2005 Contributor Jarodimus, we now have a look at Perfect Effect's next product, known only as PE-12. Just what is this product? Not much is known, except for that it is a motorcycle that may or may not transform that can be ridden by smaller Perfect Effect toys (one of which may or not be included.) What exactly could this product be? Is this a Perfect Effect Junkion? Maybe an Armada Sideways? Speculate and discuss away in the thread.

Auto Assembly Update Regarding Recent World News
Posted by News Fetcher on August 09 '11 at 09:46 PM
By ORIO from TFW2005:
The European Convention Auto Assembly has issued a statement regarding the convention and recent world news. Please, read on if you are planning on attending this weekend.

Hi everyone,

In light of the recent, saddening news coming from various cities around the UK, the Auto Assembly Committee has been flooded with questions, as you might imagine. Our response has been purposefully delayed and carefully considered - we are sure you will understand that we are faced with a unique situation and we wanted to take the opportunity to consider every possible eventuality.

To anybody who doesn’t know, there have been reports of isolated pockets of civil unrest in Birmingham. West Midlands Police have confirmed they will have a very large Police presence on the streets tonight to ensure that they continue to calm the situation. Like everybody in the UK right now, we are thankful for the great job that the Officers are doing at present in such difficult circumstances.

Nevertheless, we are pleased to announce that as things stand, Auto Assembly 2011 will go ahead as planned... and friends...it is going to rock! As the song goes, “Nothing’s gonna stand in our way, not tonight!”

Now, we are keeping a constant eye on the news and on official Police press releases so, if this situation changes we promise we will make an announcement the second we find out. But rest assured, we have no intentions whatsoever of cancelling Europe’s biggest and best Transformers convention unless we are presented with absolutely no alternative. The show, as they say, must go on!

However - it is of the utmost importance that all our convention goers please bear a few things in mind to ensure that we all have a fantastic and most importantly, a safe convention this weekend.

1. Auto Assembly 2011 is still ON
2. Allow extra travelling time to and from the convention

Upcoming Prime Episode #21 Summary
Posted by News Fetcher on August 09 '11 at 09:01 PM
By ORIO from TFW2005:
A new episode of Transformers Prime aired in Canada on Teletoon this past Sunday. 2005 Board member Autovolt 127 was fortunate enough to catch it and give us the run down on the new episode.

In this new episode, a skirmish with the Decepticons leads the Autobots to find an ancient artifact that ends up beaming a formula for Synthetic Energon into Bulkhead's head. But, the formula starts to occupy Bulkhead's mind to the point of his mind being lost forever! Of course, this is all Miko's fault.

No official word yet if this episode will air this coming Saturday on the Hub, nor is a title provided just yet. We will keep you posted as more information becomes available. In the meantime, feel free to click the discuss button and join in on the spoilerific thread!

Transformers Universe Beta Coming Very Soon
Posted by News Fetcher on August 09 '11 at 11:00 AM
By NIBMRatchet from TFW2005:
By the time you are reading this, you may have received an e-mail from Jagax regarding their upcoming MMO Game; Transformers Universe.

At the same time, popular Online Video Game Magazine Eurogamer interviewed the game's executive producer Kris Jones.

"It's very soon," said Jones of the beta. "It's not going to be far away. We're launching this in 2012, so it goes without saying that the beta will be soon."

"Transformers Universe will take some nods from the recent cartoon series, visually and thematically. We're in that universe" Jones confirmed, referring to Transformers: Prime.

Among the more memorable things he said… "I can't make Optimus Prime pink and put him in a tu-tu. There are certain characters you can't mess around with and they'll always be the way they are".

By Joe Moore from TFW2005:
Razer is known to mainly PC gamers. They produce various gamer oriented computer accessories, such as mice, keyboards, controllers and more. They produce their own designs as well as licensed designs, inspired by the like of Tron and, now, Transformers. Razer was generous enough to provide us with a few items to review.

We had the chance to review Razer's Transformers: Dark of the Moon DeathAdder Ergonomic Gaming Mouse as well as the Razer Transformers: Dark of the Moon Vespula Dual-Sided Gaming Mouse Mat. Click the DISCUSS button to check out the review.

By NIBMRatchet from TFW2005:
It is very sad to hear the death of Mr. Francesco Quinn the voice of Mirage / Dino of Transformers: Dark of the Moon. Sir, You Will Be Remembered!

Here’s a piece of news form the Indian Subcontinent. It’s very rare we get to share a valuable piece of Transformers News from our side of the globe. Let me assure you, there are plenty of TF Fans here (mostly movie) and we are breaking our country movie box-office records.

This video is from India, my neighboring country. As you all may know, Akshay Kumar received the vote from Michael Bay himself to voice Optimus Prime for Transformers: Dark of the Moon Hindi Dub.

He certainly seems to be having fun lending his voice to the most iconic Autobot to date. Bollywood Superstar Akshay Kumar spent his day from the wee hours of the morning and late into the night, dedicating himself to the role. He mentioned one other thing... he did it for free.
