Speed Stars Single Packs Wave 3 Released at US Retail

The latest assortment of Transformers Speed Stars Single Packs have been spotted at US retail! This assortment includes a couple of excellent steps forward for the Transformers brand - first of all, it heralds the return of the name "Bluestreak" to Transformers lore, and second, it adds Lockdown to the line - and more Lockdown can only be a good thing, right? Along with Lockdown and Bluestreak, the assortment includes Stunticon series Barricade, Cyber Hunt series Optimus Prime, and Revealers Bumblebee. They were spotted at a Toys "R" Us in Columbus, Ohio.

Transformers Junior was a Takara produced line of smaller versions of some popular Generation 1 Transformers in Japan. The line included characters like Rodimus Convoy (Rodimus Prime), Chromedome, Fortress Maximus, Convoy (Optimus Prime) and a few more. Today's Featured Ebay Auction is for a Rodimus Convoy and Chromedome Transformers Junior 2-Pack. The box has definitely seen better days, butthe figures appear to be in great shape. Plus it comes with the mini metal Metroplex that's almost impossible to find otherwise.

Marina City Online, the official website of the twin buildings in Chicago, has posted an article regarding the completed filming of Transformers: Dark of the Moon that was completed several months ago. According to the article, director Michael Bay's plan was to drop several burning cars off of the tower but that the scene was cut to both time and budget issues.

After seeing the first three molds this morning, the remaining lineup for the upcoming McDonald's Transformers Happy Meal promotion has been revealed courtesy of 2005 Boards member snowtech. The apparent full lineup includes:


Optimus Prime

Grindor/Blackout According to 2005 Boards member bensdady, a local McDonalds manager has stated that the Transformers Happy Meal promotion will start the day after Thanksgiving on Friday, November 26th.
