Transformers Prime - The one Burning Question
Posted by News Fetcher on January 19 '11 at 02:30 PM
By Sol Fury from TFW2005:
If you could ask the creative team at The Hub and Hasbro Studios any one thing about Transformers Prime, what would it be? The lack of a nose on Optimus' face? The whereabouts of Jackson Darby's father?

Well, now is your chance. Hasbro have given us a chance to submit any one question about Transformers Prime to the creative teams behind the show for them to answer. One question, one chance to learn something awesome about the backstory of this new series - or if you prefer, a chance to get technical and ask about the process of creating this great new series.

Posted by News Fetcher on January 18 '11 at 08:30 PM
By NIBMRatchet from TFW2005:
We have with us another possible Human Alliance figure from Transformers: Dark of the Moon toyline thanks to 4chan /toy/.

It is unsure what size class this figure belongs to. Many TFW2005 members speculate that this might belong to the said "Human Alliance Basics" line.

Previously, we saw the G. I. Joe A.W.E. Striker look-alike toy and now this. Both toys came unannounced, without prior notice of such toy existing.

Featured Ebay Auctions - Something Old, Something New...
Posted by News Fetcher on January 18 '11 at 11:15 AM
By Joe Moore from TFW2005:
I'd like to introduce a new "theme" that will occasionally be used in our Featured Ebay Auctions. I'd like to introduce Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue, or something that loosely rhymes with "blue". In these we'll feature an old product auction, a new(ish) product, a licensed product and something different for the "blue or rhymes with blue" auction. I'll usually go with this about 2 times a month.

Xovergen Grand Patriot Red & White Pictorial Review
Posted by News Fetcher on January 18 '11 at 06:30 AM
By TM2 D-bot from TFW2005:
TFW2005 sponsor Red leader from Kapow Toys has written a pictorial review for the new Xovergen Grand Patriot Red & White figure:

This guy is strange - awesome presentation box, nice little comic and a neat idea, it just doesnt quite come off.

First impressions when you get it out of the box are ''my god its light!'' you then panic that its fragile and is going to break in your hands until you spend a bit of time with it.

Possible Transformers: Dark Of The Moon Deluxe Class Jolt Revealed
Posted by News Fetcher on January 18 '11 at 06:15 AM
By NIBMRatchet from TFW2005:
Talk of the devil! Look who just showed-up at Yahoo Auctions, Japan? Hello Jolt!...Is that you? Have you put on a few pounds or something? Or a nice hair-cut?

It’s always nice to see a friendly face. This time it looks like the guy who transplanted the Afterburners on Optimus Prime. From the looks (the Chevrolet Volt car and the Mechtech gun) we can assume that this is the Transformers: Dark of the Moon Deluxe Class Jolt mentioned on the recently revealed toy list. You can take a look at the images by visiting the auction site mentioned above. Yes… no robot mode.

Posted by News Fetcher on January 18 '11 at 02:30 AM
By TM2 D-bot from TFW2005:
Not looking forward to spending that much for Junkion troop building? It seems Hasbro has us covered. The only way to get a remolded head on Reveal the Shield Wreck-Gar was previously through the E-Hobby exclusive United Scrapheap. However, now Hasbro's instruction sheet for Wreck-Gar again reveal an alternate head robot in their images. Not sporting a closed of faceplate like that found on Scrapheap, he does have a visored head.
