By Deefuzz from TFW2005:
Bzzurkk has just posted up a preview of Transformers #8 from IDW's ongoing series. This issue seems to be focused primarily on Spike Witwicky.

"Spike Witwicky commands a unit specially trained to take down Transformers; he has single-handedly brokered peace between the U.S. and the Autobots. But there are secrets in his past that could jeopardize all of that. Good thing Spike's not the kind of guy who would recklessly endanger the entire world to settle a personal score, right?"

By Sol Fury from TFW2005:
Movie blog site Just Jared and UK newspaper site Daily Mail Online have posted some of the first on site pictures of the new Transformers leading actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Rosie replaces outgoing leading lady Megan Fox as Shia Lebeouf's costar and love interest. Her first scene on set? She's wearing a bathrobe! Perhaps it is to protect her costume underneath from dirt, although with Megan Fox's track record, she might well be providing some fanservice!

TFW2005 Sound-Off! Which system are you going with for WAR FOR CYBERTRON?
Posted by News Fetcher on June 07 '10 at 10:45 PM
By Kickback from TFW2005:
We're holding another SOUND-OFF! event! With the official release for Transformers: War For Cybertron exactly two weeks away (June 22nd), TFW2005.COM wants to know which system you're getting the game for!

Because we're not biased, we've included the options for the Cybertron Adventures for Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS, though this reporter has noticed that in recent previews, developer High Moon Studios has neglected to mention the Wii and DS versions in their latest interviews (most likely because another studio did the porting of the game to Wii and DS). Those who plan to buy multiple versions have an option, and those of you who are anti-video games or just think this game is going to suck, you have an option of "None" so you too can take part in the voting.

Buyer Beware - Knockoff Replica G1 Menasor Inbound
Posted by News Fetcher on June 07 '10 at 07:30 PM
By Deefuzz from TFW2005:
Next in the line of fake replica knockoff Transformers comes G1 Menasor. This replica giftset should be popping up right about now, and will come both loose and in boxed giftset flavors. Those of you looking to score a vintage Menasor beware! (Note: Image of Menasor used in story is of a REAL vintage Menasor, not the knockoff one that will be surfacing).

Please keep in mind that these products are not endorsed by Hasbro or Takara-Tomy and therefore do not meet the same standard of quality control and safety that official products meet. We urge anyone in the market for vintage items to be sure of what they are actually buying, and educate themselves on the product before potentially purchasing a knockoff item.

New Transformers 3 on set pictures - including a clear view of Ratchet's new look!
Posted by News Fetcher on June 07 '10 at 03:15 PM
By Sol Fury from TFW2005:
A small gallery has been posted to Flickr, showing off the vehicles of Transformers 3 in storage prior to being used on screen. The Ironhide Topkick and the Optimus Prime truck are both there, as is a group of UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles, used for scouting terrain from the air). What is particularly exciting though is the presence of Autobot Ratchet, in his all-new deco. We previously saw it in transit, but it was partially covered up. Now you can see the whole thing for the first time! Ratchet now features a much brighter green, as well as a large gray stripe on the side panels and an entirely gray hood on his front. His side panels, instead of the "lifesign pulse" detail, now feature the wording "FIRE DEPARTMENT E4".
