A few days ago it was revealed to the world that Megaon Fox will not be returning for Transformers 3. Some of you wept tears of sorrow, others of you rejoiced, and somewhere, Michael Bay set off an explosion.

And while that explosive news was pretty big, we're interested in the ripple effect - namely, what are YOUR thoughts on this rather large bit of news and information regarding Megan Fox and her depature from the movie franchise that arguably created her career (cuz let's face it, dating that guy from Beverly Hills 90210 just wasn't going to cut it long-term).

Powercore Combiners and Hunt for Decepticons Released in Australia
Posted by News Fetcher on May 21 '10 at 08:00 AM
By Kickback from TFW2005:
Australia usually gets things before everyone else - sometimes a couple weeks prior, sometimes a couple months prior, or in the case of some toys, they only exist in Australia! And while Australia has a lot of very unique things to it (including very deadly spiders! Thanks for scaring me away from the "Land Down Under" forever Discovery Channel, who just so happens to be partners with Hasbro for their new channel "The Hub" which will be airing Transformers Prime and other old Hasbro programming, how's that for the most random crossover advertising?), they can now add Powercore Combiners to their list!

By Joe Moore from TFW2005:
The TFW2005 Boombox Contest is in full swing. We've already received some great entries. But what we didn't plan for was that people would need some extra time. With Botcon right around the corner some members expressed interest in entering, but lacked the time due to Botcon.

So TFW2005 listened and we have extended the contest. It will now run until Monday, July 26, 2010. That's one full month past Botcon. We hope to see your art and custom figure entries before the deadline. Check the links below for more info.

Posted by News Fetcher on May 20 '10 at 12:00 PM
By Sol Fury from TFW2005:
Comic Book Resources have posted an excellent two-part news story today. First and foremost, they have posted a brief interview with Mike Costa, the writer of the ongoing Transformers series from IDW. The interview looks over some of the thinking behind the direction the series has gone so far and teases at the new developments that are set to occur in issue #7 with the return of Megatron. Second, CBR have also posted up a five page preview of the new issue, which features several pleasing appearances by many less well known Decepticons, including the first ever comic book appearance of Acid Storm.
