Takara-Tomy’s November solicits have yielded a surprising new listing. Tucked below their Power of the Primes November solicits is an entry that translates as “TF Encore Returns Convoy”. This is big news as it confirms the Encore line is carrying on after the slightly tarnished reception it received earlier this year with the release of Car Robots Godfire Convoy, and it also indicates the line is going to carry on releasing Convoys (Optimus Primes) from across the Transformers lines’ rich history. In this case, Returns Convoy is not Star Convoy (whose line was Return of Convoy, but the Japanese character

Listings are starting to go up for Takara-Tomy’s November releases, which will see what we presume are the final four releases in their Power of the Primes line (on the basis that these four mean Takara-Tomy has released everything Hasbro has offered or shown off to date). November 2018 brings us these final four releases: PP-37 Megatronus / Bomb Burst PP-38 Autobot Outback PP-39 Decepticon Cindersaur PP-40 Rodimus Unicronus Yes, even evil Rodimus is getting a releases in Japan – we’d honestly thought Takara-Tomy had skipped over him, but he seems to be the note the line is ending on

David Beckel who conducted the Q&A Session, knew exactly what to ask. TFW2005 is happy to deliver a transcript for all our fans: “Question: Speaking of future production slate, just recently I think one of your Transformers films was removed from Paramount’s 2019 Release Schedule. In early January, TFW2005
revealed to the fans that Decepticon Barricade is prominently featured in licensed merchandise for the upcoming Transformers: Bumblebee movie. This hinted toward a possible appearance of the character within the movie itself. Sure enough, Jess Harnell (the voice of Live Action Movie Series Barricade), who spoke during a panel at London ComicCon 2018, has confirmed his involvement with the new film and reprising his role as the Decepticon enforcer. Barricade is also listed as a toy for the Bumblebee movie Energon Igniters gimmick line. You can check out his brief statement, at
