Simon Furman, who extensively develops the back-story world to Transformers (via Comic Books), is attending to some personal appearances in the coming months.

First off, He’ll be at a small (but no doubt perfectly formed) Transformers event on Sunday, April 25th in Fordingbridge in Hampshire. The local comic store, “All The Cool Stuff”, is hosting this celebration of all things Transformers and he’ll be there to meet, greet and sign stuff. And sell stuff too!

Today's Featured Ebay Auction is not of anything particularly rare, but still fun to look at. It's a Large In-Package Transformers Lot Featuring G1, Movie, Classics, Animated And More by seller vectormagnus2010. There's some really nice pieces in the lot, including the G1 Train Set (a personal favorite).

Rumor - Transformers Animated Activator Soundblaster?

Here is an interesting rumor, Transformers Animated fans. Takara-Tomy are sending out solicitations to several online stores, including Big Bad Toy Store, for a new release in their Transformers Animated line. The silhouette on the solicitation is Activators Soundwave, although all information to come to the vendor suggests it is Soundblaster.

Youtube member G1COLLECTOR has shared some video reviews of some of the rarest of all the Generation 1 Transformers toys - the Japan only Autobot Dinocassettes. The four Dinocassettes - Gurafi, Noizu, Dairu and Zauru, also known by the names Graph, Noise, Dial and Zaur - are among the hardest to find of all the vintage Generation 1 releases, and so it is a real treat to get to see videos of these four toys.

Curt of TFSource (and several eagle eyed members of our 2005 Boards) dropped by our boards to let us know that Justitoys have put up a new "coming soon" webpage. The page shows the next three offerings in the WST Robots lineup in silhouette, but from the silhouettes it is possible to work out that the next three Justitoys WST Transformers will be based on Sixshot, Astrotrain and Blitzwing.

Speaking to contactmusic, Transformers Live Action Movie series star Shia Labeouf admits that he was confused by Revenge of the Fallen, and that he simply could not work out what was going on with certain Transformers and plotlines. However Shia, who plays Sam Witwicky, does not lay the blame at the feet of anyone involved in the production in particular, instead saying that the weakness in the production came from the Writer's Strike and having to do a lot of work on the fly.

ActionFigs.com, in the recent Hasbro Q & A, has asked the question many of you have been asking - when will we see Transformers Animated Season 3 on DVD? Unfortunately, the answer that came back read as follows:

Unfortunately, there are no plans to release Animated Season 3 or to re-release Season 1 or 2 at this time. Granted, all plans are always subject to change, but we do not want to promise anything at this point in time.
