It’s non-stop Transformers: Dark of the Moon action happening right here at TFW2005.
This time we have another
article by HitFix. You are warned… Spoilers!
"There was certainly an emphasis on introducing Rosie Huntington-Whiteley to us through a number of clips that played up the relationship between Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) and Carly (Huntington-Whiteley). When she ends up trapped in Chicago after it's been taken over by Decepticons, Sam has to go into the city to find her, setting off what looks like one of the wildest series of scenes that Bay's ever orchestrated, and he was given unprecedented access to the city's resources to help stage his invasion. The result is a sense of urban chaos that I've never seen staged on this scale.
And "scale" seems to be a big word for this film. We saw battle sequences set on the home planet of the Transformers. We saw a crazy accident on the moon, and we saw what happens when all the robots scattered there by that accident finally wake up. We saw a jaw-dropping sequence involving soldiers jumping out of a transport over the city and using cutting-edge flight suits to glide down to the ground, racing between buildings as they do. We saw a piece of a scene involving an attack on a skyscraper where the Decepticons appear to saw an entire building in half using a giant sandworm-looking robot that burrows deep into the building while the human heroes struggle to find a way to ride it out in the upper half of the building.
… looks like things get very personal for Sam in this one, and like he's learned some new tricks that help even the odds when he has to face the Decepticons. We saw a chunk of an alley fight between Starscream and Sam in which Sam reveals that he's been given some new weaponry, including a grapping gun glove of sorts that seems fairly effective."

This day just keeps getting better and better for Transformers: Dark of the Moon Fans.
We had trailer dates
revealed by Mr. Michael Bay himself. Then a
promo image of Sentinel Prime and now this… a new Transformers Dark Of The Moon Banner revealed featuring Optimus Prime.
The banner was posted at ComingSoon.net along with an interview with Michael Bay.
"This one is a more mature storyline, definitely darker, more emotional in the end. You feel the stakes are higher because it takes place in an American city. You're not disconnected with Egypt and the pyramids. I'm very happy with the movie," [Bay] says, touching lightly on the story we can expect to see. "It's a small group and you follow them. There's no cavalry coming. I've said this with Ehren, we were talking about concept, we used the term 'Black Hawk Down .' We try to make the cavalry unable to come. And it's more fun to watch our heroes in this epic ending with just a small group. It makes it more intimate."
Bay is hesitant to call the film "bigger," but everything we witnessed moments later in the Paramount theater screams "huge" (although we do understand what Bay meant story-wise). Of the nearly 20 minutes of footage shown to us (with an extra five shown in 3D), it's clear Bay is taking the series to new heights in every respect.
Unfortunately, we're not allowed to go into details, but we will say, it's merciless.Read the rest of the article

It is mid-April, and no sign of a trailer yet. But to keep the excitement running, here’s a little news about something relating to the Michael Bay Transformers Live Action Movie Series Trailers. It’s the Logo we see at the end of the
Announcement Trailer.
You guys may have noticed how similar the Transformers: Dark of the Moon Logo appeared when compared with the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Trailer (You know, the one with the Decepticon insignia exploding and revealing the title).
Well, that’s because both sequences were done by the same company.
Imaginary Forces creative studio and production company says…
“Paramount asked us once again to create a dynamic Transformers main title reveal, this time for the upcoming Transformers: Dark of The Moon, which will be shown in 3D.
We designed the main title and the end animation sequence for this teaser, and collaborated with ILM to make sure everything integrated seamlessly.
The idea was to enter the Transformer’s eye and to find out what lies behind it. IF director Ronnie Koff takes us on a journey through the macro level of a mechanical, yet organic architectural landscape of nanotechnology resolving into the logotype.”Speaking of the “Transformers 3 Announcement Trailer”… There’s this whole conspiracy stuff behind it. Read what producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura had to say about the subject after the jump.

Takara-Tomy has opened a new Transformers dedicated website.
The site is bright and colorful with lots of info about their upcoming products. The site is still under construction, which is why we can’t access pages such as Transformers: Dark of the Moon DA-12 Air Raid (but the image is online on
another site though).
You’ll also find info about other Transformers products such as Card Games, not just toy figures.
Take a look at the new Takara-Tomy Official Transformers Products Website
here.

He might well be the last release in the Generations line - but
Warpath makes sure the series will go out with a bang! Our
Transformers Toy Galleries section has been updated with a gallery of this smooth final release (for the time being) in the
Transformers Generations line. Warpath is a fantastic toy with a good, solid action figure styling and great sculpted in details. He's got a simple transformation which works extremely well in his favor - and a cool automorph head reveal as well. All in all, this is a worthy update to Warpath that embodies the true spirit of the classics series.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words so I'll stop singing Warpath's praises here and direct you to the gallery, which has over 70 pictures documenting all that is awesome about Warpath.

The Transformers Collectors Club has sent out an email and
tweeted on their new Twitter account about various things, including of most interest to those of us waiting, some hints at the planned preorder window for Animated Transtech Cheetor and Generation 2 Ramjet. In order not to interfere with the major religious holidays this month, the preorders will not go up until the last week of the month. A series of posts on Twitter followed, clarifying that this meant, "from Monday 25 April onwards". Another post on twitter also hints that the price will be consistent with previous deluxes, which ranged from $42-$59. It won't be as low as $42 but definitely won't be as high as $59, according to the post.
The email also mentions that the free Sideburn figures will be shipping out after Botcon.

the picture attached to this post? It was posted on the new
Transformers Collector's Club Twitter account.
Talk about it here, or read on for the original text of the email talking about the release of the club exclusive toys.

This is it, folks! The confirmation of Iridescent single for Transformers: Dark of the Moon came from none other than Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park himself.
Updating his
Official Blog, Mr. Shinoda stated...
"A few months ago, I got on the phone with Michael Bay, who wanted to discuss the possibility of our band continuing our run with songs paired with the Transformers films. We (he, his team, and our band) all have enjoyed working together on the past two, and he wanted to discuss the ideas we might have for Transformers 3: Dark Of The Moon. In particular, one song came up immediately. Ever since we started playing Iridescent live, the song has been a fan favorite at the show.
For the film, there’s a new, slightly shorter version of the song, which is floating around the internet now. We’ll be shooting a video for the song tomorrow, directed by Joe Hahn."You can listen to the song at

Also attached to this interview are 6 pieces of art - the cover and 5 pages from CHAOS.
IDW Transformers Editor Andy Schmidt let us know that after you guys and gals give this a read, if you have more questions, he would be happy to try and answer some. So post any thoughts or questions in the discussion thread here. We will round them up, send them to Andy, and post his responses when they come back!
